Abstract:
Raziskovalna dejavnost v gradbeništvu je v zadnjem času osredotočena tudi na materiale, s katerimi želi pri gradnji vplivati na zmanjšanje onesnaženosti narave in okolja. Takšen material je konopljin beton, ki predstavlja učinkovito in okolju prijazno gradnjo tudi zaradi ničelnega ogljičnega odtisa. Namen diplomskega dela je s pregledom strokovne in znanstvene literature, ki je bila objavljena od leta 2009 do 2020, ugotoviti, ali je konopljin beton primeren gradbeni material za enostavne stanovanjske hiše in zahtevnejše objekte. Raziskave so pokazale, da ima konopljin beton majhne mehanske trdnosti, ki pa jih lahko najbolj izboljšamo s povečanjem gostote in deleža veziv (cementa in pucolanov). Takšen beton je potem primeren tudi za gradnjo večjih objektov. Raziskave so tudi potrdile, da ima konopljin beton odlične toplotne in akustične lastnosti, je paropropusten, ognjevaren in zrakotesen, zaradi česar nudi bivanjsko ugodje in zmanjšuje stroške ogrevanja. Ker so na tržišču že dostopni prefabricirani konopljini zidaki, ki še poenostavijo gradnjo s tem materialom, lahko pričakujemo njegovo hitrejšo uveljavitev.

Title:
Mechanical-physical properties of hempcrete
Abstract:
Recently, research activity in construction has also focused on materials used to reduce the pollution of nature and the environment during construction. Such a material is hemp concrete, which represents an efficient and environmentally friendly construction also due to the zero carbon footprint. The purpose of this thesis is to review the professional and scientific literature published from 2009 to 2020 to determine whether hemp concrete is a suitable building material for simple residential houses and more complex facilities. Research has shown that hemp concrete has low mechanical strength, which can be increased most by increasing the density and proportion of binders (cement and pozzolans). Such concrete is then also suitable for the construction of larger facilities. Research has also confirmed that hemp concrete has excellent thermal and acoustic properties, is vapor-permeable, fire-proof and airtight, making it comfortable to live in and reducing heating costs. Since prefabricated hemp bricks are already available on the market, which further simplifies construction with this material, we can expect its faster implementation.
