Abstract:Kot družbo v celoti nas vse bolj pesti problematika nastajanja in kopičenja odpadkov in s tem povezane negativne posledice, pri čemer najbolj trpi naše naravno okolje. V tem delu smo pod drobnogled vzeli kavni odpadek, kot potencialni vir surovine za izdelavo peletov, namenjenih energetski izrabi. Raziskali smo kakšne so lastnosti odpadne kave, kolikšne količine lahko pridobimo na določenem območju, kakšne so zakonodajne zahteve, na koncu pa smo tudi ovrednotili višino investicije v podjetje, ki bi tovrstni odpadek predelovalo. Vse skupaj smo zapisali v obliki poslovnega načrta. Ugotovili smo, da večina podjetij kavno usedlino daje v zabojnike za biološke odpadke, katere nato odvažajo lokalna komunalna podjetja. Izračun je pokazal, da bi projekt lahko bil komercialno uspešen ob izpolnitvi določenih pogojev.

Title:Business plan for the establishment of a company for the production of coffee grounds pellets
Abstract:Our society as a whole has been increasingly plagued by problems of waste generation and accumulation and the associated negative consequences, which are particularly harmful to our natural environment. This thesis analyses the use of used coffee grounds as a potential raw material for the production of pellets intended to produce energy. We examined the properties of used coffee grounds, what quantities could be obtained in a particular area, as well as the legislative requirements in place, and in the end we also estimated the amount of investment needed for a company to process this kind of waste. We present our findings in the form of a business plan. We found that most companies dispose of used coffee grounds into organic waste bins, which are then taken away by local utility companies. The calculation has shown that such a project could be commercially successful provided that certain conditions are fulfilled.
