Abstract:
Uvod: V diplomskem delu smo raziskali kakovost življenja pacienta z rakom trebušne slinavke. Vpliv bolezni se pri vsakem posamezniku izraža na drugačen način in vsak jo drugače dojema. Namen zaključnega dela je raziskati, kakšna je kakovost življenja pacienta z rakom trebušne slinavke. Metode: Za izdelavo diplomskega dela smo izvedli pregled literature, uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela ter metodo kompilacije in komparacije. Članke smo iskali v mednarodnih podatkovnih bazah CINAHL in PubMed. Rezultati: Ugotovili smo, da način zdravljenja lahko vpliva na kakovost življenja, saj je kirurška resekcija, izmed tehnik zdravljenja, najboljša možna izbira zdravljenja za dobro kakovost življenja pacienta z rakom trebušne slinavke. Prav tako na izboljšano kakovost življenja vpliva kombinirano onkološko zdravljenje in opustitev nekaterih razvad kot so: kajenje, nezdrava prehrana in uživanje alkoholnih in sladkih pijač. Razprava in sklep: Zelo pomembno je, da ima pacient, ki zboli za rakom trebušne slinavke, dobro kvaliteto življenja. Opustitev nekaterih razvad in poznavanje ter izogibanje dejavnikov tveganja lahko pozitivno vplivajo na pacientovo počutje in kakovost življenja.

Title:
The qualitiy of life of a patient with pancreatic cancer
Abstract:
Introduction: In the diploma thesis we researched the quality of life of a patient with pancreatic cancer. The influence and the perception of the disease is different for each individual. The purpose of this final thesis was to research the quality of life of patients with pancreatic cancer. Methods: For writing and editing this diploma thesis we made literature review and methods of compilation, comparison and description have been used. We looked for articles in the international databases CINAHL and PubMEd. Results: We have established that the way of treatment can have a big impact on the quality of life, because the surgical resection, among treatment techniques, is the best possible choice of treatment for a good quality of life of patients with pancreatic cancer. Combined oncological treatment and the suspension of bad habits (smoking, unhealthy diets, alcohol and sweet drink consumption) also affect the improvement of quality of life. Discussion and conclusion: It is of great importance that a patient with pancreatic cancer has a good quality of life. The suspension of bad habits and having knowledge of risk factors and avoiding them can have a positive impact on patient’s well-being and quality of life.
