Title:Mnenje staršev o pomenu plavanja otrok

Abstract:Tema diplomskega dela, mnenje staršev o pomenu plavanja otrok, je bila zastavljena z namenom pridobiti mnenje staršev o pomenu plavanja otrok in ugotoviti razloge staršev za vključevanje otrok v trening plavanja. Cilj diplomskega dela je, na teoretičnem nivoju, pojasniti vpliv plavanja na otrokov celotni razvoj, preveriti, ali se razlikuje mnenje o gibanju in športu otrok med starši, ki so vključili otroke v trening plavanja in starši, katerih otroci ne trenirajo plavanja. Diplomsko delo je razdeljeno na dva dela, na teoretični in empirični del. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljen pomen plavanja za otrokov telesni in gibalni razvoj in možnost plavanja za otroke. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati in interpretacija rezultatov izvedene anonimne ankete. Podatke smo zbrali s kvantitativno tehniko. Uporabili smo neslučajnostni vzorec konkretne populacije staršev otrok, starih od 4 do 7 let, ki trenirajo plavanje, in staršev otrok, ki ne trenirajo plavanja. Pridobljene podatke smo obdelali s t-testom za neodvisne vzorce, hi kvadrat testom in metodo frekvenčne distribucije. Ugotovili smo, da v mnenju o gibanju in športu otrok med starši, ki so vključili svoje otroke v trening plavanja, in starši, katerih otroci ne trenirajo plavanja, ne obstaja statistično značilna razlika. Prav tako je raziskava pokazala, da znanje plavanja staršev vpliva na vključevanje otrok v trening plavanja. Najpomembnejši razlog staršev za vključitev otrok v trening plavanja je pozitiven vpliv na razvoj gibalnih sposobnosti njihovih otrok. Velika večina staršev otrok, ki ne trenirajo plavanja, bi otroke vključila v trening plavanja, če bi imeli to možnost.

Title:Parents' opinion on the importance of childrens swimming
Abstract:The topic of the diploma work, parents' opinion on the importance of children's swimming, was set in order to obtain parents' opinion on the importance of children's swimming and to determine the reasons why parents include their children in swimming practice. The aim of the diploma thesis is to explain, on a theoretical level, the impact of swimming on children's overall development, to check whether the opinion on children's movement and sports differs between parents who included their children in swimming practice and those whose children do not practice swimming. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part, the importance of swimming for children's physical and motor development and the possibility of swimming for children are presented. In the empirical part, the results and interpretation of the results of the anonymous survey are discussed. Data were collected using a quantitative technique. We used a non-random sample of specific population, namely parents of children aged 4 to 7 who practice swimming and parents of children who do not practice swimming. The obtained data were processed by t-test for independent samples, hi-square test and frequency distribution method. We found that there was no statistically significant difference in the opinion of children’s movement and sports between parents who included their children in swimming practice and those who did not. Research has also shown that parents' swimming skills influence their children's involvement in swimming practice. The most important reason for parents to include their children in swimming is the positive impact on the development of their children's motor skills. The vast majority of parents of children who do not practice swimming would, if they had the opportunity, involve their child in swimming practice.
