Abstract:Uporaba biometrije je v vedno večjem porastu, saj obljublja, da bo postopek overjanja bolj varen in preprost. Biometrija je za razliko od gesel in identifikacijskih kartic nekaj, kar ni moč pozabiti in si deliti z drugimi. Biometrija se je uveljavila že na številnih področjih, vedno bolj aktualna pa je tudi v bančništvu. Vedno več posameznikov uporablja pametne naprave, ki omogočajo biometrično tehnologijo. Z načinom biometrične verifikacije je nadzor in upravljanje pri bančnih storitvah hitrejši, varnejši in preprostejši. Pri našem diplomskem delu smo se osredotočili na dejavnike, ki vplivajo na posameznikovo odločitev sprejemanja biometrične verifikacije pri uporabi bančnih storitev. Cilj dela je bil raziskati dejavnike sprejemanja biometrične verifikacije pri uporabi bančnih storitev s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, pridobiti vzorec posameznikov različnih starostnih skupin in interesov. Anketni vprašalnik smo delili preko socialnega omrežja Facebook v različnih skupinah. Vprašalnik je bil sestavljen iz osmih sklopov. Vsak sklop je imel po tri indikatorje, na katere so anketiranci odgovarjali s pomočjo Likertove lestvice od 1 do 5. Na podlagi rezultatov smo potrdili osem hipotez, eno smo zavrnili. Glavni dejavniki sprejemanja biometrične tehnologije pri uporabi bančnih storitev so namera za uporabo biometrične tehnologije pri dostopu do bančnih storitev, stališča uporabe tehnologije, zaznana uporabnost tehnologije, preprostost uporabe tehnologije, zaupanje v varnost tehnologije, nadzor nad varnostjo tehnologije in subjektivna norma. Biometrija je tematika, ki je zelo aktualna, tehnologija nas praktično spremlja v našem življenju vsak dan in vsepovsod, z njo pa se odpirajo tudi nove rešitve in problematike glede varnosti in shranjevanja biometričnih podatkov.

Title:Adoption of biometric verification in the use of banking services
Abstract:The use of biometrics is on the rise as it promises to make the authentication process more secure and simple. Unlike passwords and identification cards, biometrics is something that cannot be forgotten and shared with others. Biometrics has already established itself in many areas, but it is also becoming increasingly popular in banking. More and more individuals are using smart devices that enable biometric technology. With the method of biometric verification, supervision and management of banking services is faster, safer and simpler. In our dissertation, we focused on the factors that influence an individual's decision to accept biometric verification when using banking services. The aim of the work was to investigate the factors of acceptance of biometric verification in the use of banking services, with the help of a questionnaire, to obtain a completely random sample of individuals of different age groups and interests. The survey questionnaire was shared via the social network Facebook in different groups. The questionnaire consisted of eight sets. Each set had three indicators, to which the respondents answered using the Likert scale from 1 to 5. Based on the results, we confirmed eight hypotheses, and rejected one. The main factors of adopting biometric technology in the use of banking services are the intention to use biometric technology when accessing banking services, attitude towards use of technology, perceived usefulness of technology, ease of use of technology, trust in security of technology, control over security of technology and subjective norm. Biometrics is a topic that is very current, technology practically accompanies us in our lives every day and everywhere, and it also opens up new solutions and problems regarding the security and storage of biometric data.
