Title:Varnost in varovanje jedrskih objektov : diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študijskega programa Varstvoslovje

Abstract:V diplomski nalogi smo obravnavali varnost in varovanje jedrskih objektov v Republiki Sloveniji. Varnost jedrskih objektov je ključnega pomena za njihovo sprejemljivost v družbi. Pomemben prispevek k varnosti je tudi ustrezno varovanje objektov. Področje varovanja je še posebej aktualno, saj se pojavljajo vedno nove oblike ogrožanja jedrskih objektov. V diplomskem delu smo preučevali, kateri so že sprejeti ukrepi za izboljšanje fizičnega varovanje jedrskih objektov in posledično tudi kako vplivajo na njihovo varnost. Pregledali in raziskovali smo mednarodne in domače zahteve ter predpise na področju varovanja jedrskih objektov in navedli področja, ki so skupna jedrski varnosti in varovanju. Intervjuje z upravljalci jedrskih objektov smo opravili z namenom, da bi preverili, kakšno je stanje na področju varovanja jedrskih objektov v Republiki Sloveniji. S pomočjo pridobljenih podatkov z intervjuji, s pregledom dokumentov in ostalih virov smo ugotovili, da je v Republiki Sloveniji za jedrsko varnost zadostno poskrbljeno, vendar z dodatnimi pomanjkljivostmi. Glavne pomanjkljivosti glede varnosti in varovanja jedrskih objektov v Republiki Sloveniji vidimo predvsem v tem, da bi lahko na tem področju zaposlili več jedrskih strokovnjakov ter dali več poudarka posodobitvi obstoječih varnostnih sistemov in praks.

Title:Safety and Security of Nuclear Facilities
Abstract:In our diploma thesis we discussed the safety and security of nuclear facilities in the Republic of Slovenia. The safety of nuclear facilities is crucial for their acceptability in society. Appropriate security of facilities is also an important contribution to nuclear safety. The field of protection is especially topical, as new forms of threats to nuclear facilities are constantly emerging. In our diploma thesis we studied, what measures have already been taken to improve the physical protection of nuclear facilities and consequently also, how they affect their safety. We reviewed and researched international and domestic requirements and regulations in the field of safety of nuclear facilities and listed areas that are common to nuclear safety and security. We conducted interviews with the operators of nuclear facilities in order to check the situation in the field of protection of nuclear facilities in the Republic of Slovenia. Based on the data obtained through interviews, reviews of documents and other sources, we concluded that in Slovenia nuclear safety is sufficiently taken care of, with additional shortcomings. We see the main shortcomings in terms of safety and security of nuclear facilities in the Republic of Slovenia, mainly in the fact, that we could employ more nuclear experts in this field and put more emphasis on the modernization of existing safety systems and practices.
