Title:Optimizacija procesa dekarbonatizacije surove vode v TEŠ : diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študijskega programa I. stopnje

Abstract:Z raziskavami v okviru diplomskega dela smo podrobno analizirali proces dekarbonatizacije vode v Termoelektrarni Šoštanj. Dekarbonatizacija je odstranjevanje karbonatne trdote iz vod s kemijsko reakcijo. V vodo se dodajajo kalcijevi ioni, ki reagirajo s karbonatnimi ioni. Kalcijevi ioni se dodajo v obliki kalcijevega hidroksida, s čimer povišamo pH in povzročimo, da se hidrogen karbonatni ioni pretvorijo v karbonatne, ki so ob prisotnosti kalcija slabo topni. Ugotavljali smo optimalno pH vrednost in ugotovili, da se v laboratorijskem sistemu ta nahaja med pH vrednostmi 9 in 10, v realnem procesu pa med 8,5 in 9, saj v reaktor dodajamo tudi železov III klorid, ki ob dodani zadostni količini reagenta za dekarbonatizacijo pH niža. Preverili smo tudi različne sestave surove vode in sicer smo naredili poskuse z različnimi volumskimi razmerji vzorcev iz reke Pake in Družmirskega jezera, ki tudi sicer predstavljata vode, ki se v TEŠ-u uporabljajo za hladilne sisteme. Kot najboljšo možnost smo izbrali volumsko razmerje vode iz reke in jezera 2:3. To razmerje ima namreč na začetku relativno nizko karbonatno trdoto, po obdelavi se ta zniža in ne vsebuje veliko sulfatnih ionov. Nazadnje smo določili kinetične parametre reakcije. Potrdili smo tretji red reakcije z aktivacijsko energijo 41,6 KJ/mol in pred-eksponentnim faktorjem 1,835 10^6 (L/mol)2min.

Title:Optimization of decarbonatisation process in raw water for teš
Abstract:In thesis were observed decarbonation process of Thermal power plant in Šoštanj. Decarbonation is removal of carbonate ions from water with chemical reaction. Calcium ions are added to to water, to react with carbonate ions. Calcium ions are addedin the form of calcium hydroxide to increase pH, so that hydrogen carbonate ions transform into carbonate ions, witch are insoluble in present of calcium. We were determining optimal pH ,and concluded that in laboratory system optimal value is between 9 and 10, but in the actual real reactor,where there is added iron III chloride the pH can decrease to 8,5 to 9. We were also looking at different composition af raw water. We experimented with different volume percentage of Paka river and Družmirje lake, witch also represent waters, that come in to cooling system in TEŠ. As the best possibility, we chose ratio river:lake = 2:3. This ratio has relativly lov carbonate hardness, after processing it even decreases and it also doesen't have much sulphate ions. Lastly we determined the reaction kinetics . It is a third order reaction with activation energy of 41,6 KJ/mol and pre-eksponental factor 1,835 10^6 (L/mol)2min.
