Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo nadgradili sistem za avtomatizirano testiranje elektronike v podjetju Gorenje. V sistem za testiranje so vključene naprave: robotska roka, prijemalo, motor, sintetični prst in kamera, s katerimi simuliramo realno okolje, v katerem takšna elektronska vezja sicer delujejo. Prvotni sistem, ki se je uporabljal v podjetju Gorenje, ni omogočal dovolj visoke stopnje abstrakcije in modularnosti ter je bil slabo odziven. V ta namen smo v sistem za avtomatizirano testiranje elektronike vključili operacijski sistem ROS. V diplomski nalogi smo predstavili potek implementacije novega sistema testiranja elektronike. Primerjali smo obstoječi in novi sistem. Izkazalo se je, da je predlagan nov pristop predvsem bolj odziven in bolj modularen.

Title:ROS operating system for automated hardware testing in industrial environment
Abstract:In the bachelor’s thesis, we upgraded the system for automated hardware testing used by the company Gorenje. This testing system consists of a robotic arm, gripper, motor, synthetic finger, and camera with which we simulate the real environment in which such hardware would normally operate. The former system used by Gorenje did not allow a high degree of abstraction and modularity and it also had poor responsiveness. For this reason, we included ROS in the system for automated hardware testing. In the bachelor’s thesis, we presented the process of implementation of the new electronics testing system. We compared the existing and the new system. The proposed new approach has proven to be more responsive and more modular.
