Abstract:V diplomski nalogi smo obravnavali sistem zbiranja odpadkov v Mestni občini Maribor. Primerjali smo obstoječi način zbiranja komunalnih odpadkov z naprednim sistemom zbiranja s podzemnimi zbiralnicami odpadkov, ki izboljša ter odpravi številne težave, s katerimi se javna služba Snaga d.o.o. dandanes sooča. Ugotovili smo, da sam nadzor nad odlaganimi odpadki ni učinkovit in predstavlja velik problem komunalnim podjetjem. Prav tako resen problem predstavlja majhen odstotek ločenih frakcij na samem izvoru. Predstavili in pojasnili smo podzemni sistem in način njegovega delovanja. Poglavitna ugotovitev je, da sistem izboljšuje prevzemanje, odvoz in nadzor nad odpadki ter poveča deleže ločeno zbranih frakcij.

Title:Planning of advanced waste collection of an urban center on the example of maribor
Abstract:In this thesis we address the system of collecting waste in Maribor municipality. We compared the existing system of waste collecting with POTKO. POTKO improves and eliminates countless problems that public service Snaga d. o. o. faces every day. We found that the control over landfilled waste is not effective and it presents a big problem to the utility companies. A serious problem presents the small percentage of collected fractured waste at the source. We presented and explained the POTKO system and how it works. The main finding is that this system improves the take over of wastes, transport and control over wastes and increases the amount of separately collected fractions
