Abstract:V diplomski nalogi je opisano načrtovanje in izdelava naprave, ki smo jo implementirali v nanopreciznem robotskem sistemu, z namenom obdelave stekla v mikro merilu. Elektroerozijska obdelava z raztapljanjem je eden od postopkov za mikro obdelavo neprevodnih materialov, kot je steklo. Osnovna ideja je ustvariti iskre, s povečanjem napetosti nad kritično vrednostjo v elektrokemični celici, ki lahko nato strojno obdelajo neprevodni material. Napravo za mikro erozijo stekla sestavljajo obdelovalna glava, potopni bazen, elektrolit, elektrodi in napajalnik. Z napravo smo izvedli več poskusov, kot je izdelava nekaj 100 mikrometrskih lukenj v steklenem vzorcu, vodenje delovne elektrode z nanorobotom in poskusi z zelo tankim orodjem, premera 90 μm.

Title:Designing the device for electrochemical discharge micromachining of glass
Abstract:The diploma thesis describes the design and the manufacture of a device that is implemented in a nanoprecise robotic system for the purpose of machining glass on a micro scale. Electrochemical discharge machining is one of the procedures for micromachining of non-conductive materials such as glass. The basic idea is to create sparks, by increasing the voltage above the critical value in the electrochemical cell, which can then machine the non-conductive material. The device for micromachining of glass consists of a machining head, a processing cell, an electrolyte, electrodes and a power supply. Several experiments were performed with the device, such as making a few 100 micrometer holes in a glass sample, guiding the tool-electrode with a nanorobot, and experiments with a very thin tool, 90 μm in diameter.
