Abstract:
V diplomskem projektu smo obravnavali področje poštnih storitev ter značilnosti in posebnosti logističnih verig, posebnosti distribucije paketnih pošiljk ter različne vidike in dejavnike konkurenčne prednosti. Proučevali smo, kateri so dejavniki konkurenčne prednosti Pošte Slovenije na področju distribucije paketnih pošiljk. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili teoretične osnove logistike in distribucije, značilnosti konkurence, organizacijo dostave paketnih pošiljk na Pošti Slovenije in naredili primerjavo dostave paketnih pošiljk Pošte Slovenije v primerjavi s konkurenti, kot so DHL, d. o. o., DPD, d. o. o., in GLS, d. o. o. V aplikativnem delu smo s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika preverjali štiri raziskovalne hipoteze in ugotovili, da strokovnost in prijaznost zaposlenih vpliva na izbor ponudnika paketnih storitev. Pri tem smo tudi ugotovili, da je velik delež vseh anketiranih zadovoljnih oz. zelo zadovoljnih s strokovnostjo in prijaznostjo zaposlenih na Pošti Slovenije. Ovrgli smo hipotezo, da se večina uporabnikov raje odloči za storitev Pošte Slovenije kot pa za uporabo paketomata. Anketiranci se strinjajo, da je lokacija pošte zelo pomemben dejavnik pri odločitvi za uporabo paketnih storitev, nismo pa uspeli potrditi hipoteze, da se anketiranci odločijo za paketne storitve pri Pošti Slovenije zaradi hitrosti prenosa paketnih storitev.

Title:
Competitive advantages of parcel distribution
Abstract:
The subject of this diploma's thesis is the postal service and its logistics context, the characteristics of logistics chains, the distribution of parcels and various aspects of competitive advantage. We investigated the factors that determine the competitve advantage of Pošta Slovenije's in the field of parcel distribution. In the theoretical part we presented the theoretical foundations of logistics and distribution, characteristics, major competitors, organization of parcel delivery at Pošta Slovenije and carried out an analysis and comparison of parcel delivery at Pošta Slovenije and competitors such as DHL d. o. o., DPD, d. o. o. in GLS, d. o. o. We also analyzed four research hypotheses with the help of a questionnaire and found that the professionalism in service delivery and friendliness of Pošta Slovenije employees influences the indivual choice of a package service provider. We also found that a large proportion of all respondents are satisfied or very satisfied with the professionalism and friendliness of Pošta Slovenije employees. We refuted the hypothesis that most users would prefer to choose the service of Pošta Slovenije rather than using a parcel machine. The respondents agree that the location of the post office is a very important factor in deciding to use parcel services, but we were unable to confirm the hypothesis that respondents opt for parcel services at Pošta Slovenije due to the speed of the parcel services.
