Title:Dojemanje zasebnosti mladih pri uporabi pametnih naprav : diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študijskega programa Varstvoslovje

Abstract:Napredek tehnologije in potreba po ugodnejšem življenjskem slogu sta povzročila razvoj pametnih naprav, ki so ponudile napredne in optimalne storitve. V diplomski nalogi je predstavljeno, katere pametne naprave mladi v večini uporabljajo, kako dojemajo svojo zasebnost in ali se zavedajo kibernetskih groženj z uporabo le teh. Pregled teoretičnih izhodišč je tako razdeljen na tri podpoglavja: uporaba pametnih naprav, mladi in zasebnost, kjer je pri slednjem del vsebine namenjen pregledu družbenih omrežij. Vsebina diplomske naloge se osredotoča na mobilne naprave, saj so zaradi prenosljivosti in priročnosti, najpogosteje v uporabi. Namen diplomskega dela je bil raziskati mnenje mladih o zasebnosti v kibernetskem prostoru. Cilj pa je bil opozoriti mlade na kibernetske grožnje in pripraviti ustrezna varnostna priporočila. V raziskavi so sodelovali mladi v starostni skupini od 18 do 25 let. Mladi v večini uporabljajo mobilne telefone, ker omogočajo dostop do podatkov, informacij, družbenih omrežij ipd. v vsakem trenutku. Mobilni telefoni omogočajo dostop do družbenih omrežij, ki so za večino postala neizogiben del vsakdana. Prek družbenih omrežij mladi vse pogosteje razkrivajo svojo zasebnost, kar posledično vodi do večje izpostavljenosti kibernetskim grožnjam. Mladi so dokaj prepričani, da se zavedajo kibernetskih groženj, vendar so rezultati raziskave pokazali, da vseeno svoje zasebne podatke izpostavljajo na spletu. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da se mladi še vedno ne zavedajo dovolj pomembnosti varovanja zasebnosti.

Title:Privacy perception of youth using smart devices
Abstract:Progress in technology and the need for a comfortable lifestyle caused development of smart devices that offer advanced and optimal services. The diploma thesis presents which smart devices are mostly used by youth, how they perceive privacy and whether they are aware of cyber threats while using them. Theoretical overview is thus devided into three subchapters: the use of smart devices, youth and privacy, where the latter contained a review of social networks. The content of the diploma thesis focuses on mobile devices as the most used devices because of portability and convenience. The purpose of the diploma was to research the opinion of youth about privacy in cyberspace. The aim was to warn youth to cyber threats and to provide appropriate security recommendations. The research included young people in the age group of 18 to 25 years. Youth use mobile phones mostly because of enabling access to data, information, social networks, etc. at any moment. Mobile phones provide access to social networks which have become unavoidable part of everyday for majority. Youth increasingly reveals their privacy by social networks which leads to exposure to cyber threats. Young people are quiet confident that they are aware of cyber threats but the results showed that they still expose their private data on the web. It was found out that youth are not sufficiently aware of the importance of protecting privacy yet.
