Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava različne teorije deviantnosti (odklonskosti) in kriminalitete ter tudi nujnost in funkcionalnost deviantnosti kot družbeno dejstvo oziroma normalen družbeni pojav. Povzema pravni okvir obravnave mladostnika v času prestajanja vzgojnega ukrepa oddaje v prevzgojni dom in ob njegovem odpustu ter tudi namen vzgojnih ukrepov in kazni za mladoletnike. Opisuje spremljanje mladostnika po prenehanju ukrepa oddaje v prevzgojni dom. Prikazuje postopek dela z mladoletnimi prestopniki tako v teoriji kot tudi v praksi in obravnava primer mladostnice, ki se je soočila z vzgojnim ukrepom. Teoretični del povzema literaturo, ki proučuje vzroke za deviantnost in kriminaliteto ter tudi slovensko zakonodajo na temo kazenskih sankcij in vzgojnih ukrepov za mladoletnike. Poglobljeno obravnava vzgojni ukrep oddaje v prevzgojni dom. Analitični del vsebuje intervju z vodjo oddelka za vzgojo, ki opisuje bivanje v Prevzgojnem domu Radeče, pogovor s koordinatorko mladinskih stanovanj v Mariboru ter odgovor strokovne službe Centra za socialno delo Maribor v povezavi s programom spremljanja mladostnikov po odpustu iz prevzgojnega doma. Analitični del prav tako opisuje izkušnjo mladostnice, institucionalizirane pri 17. letih zaradi nedovoljenih odsotnosti od pouka ter posesti marihuane.

Title:Monitoring adolescent while and after serving the educational measure of placement in juvenile detention center
Abstract:Diploma thesis deals with various theories of deviance and crime, as well as the necessity and functionality of deviance as a social fact or a normal social phenomenon. It summarizes the legal framework for the treatment of an adolescent during the term of the educational measure of placing into the correctional home and upon his or her dismissal, as well as the purpose of the educational measures and penalties for minors. It describes the monitoring of an adolescent after the termination of a placement measure in a correctional home. It illustrates the process of working with juvenile offenders, both in theory and in practice, and discusses the case of an adolescent who was confronted with an educational measure. The theoretical part summarizes the literature examining the causes of deviance and crime, as well as the Slovenian legislation on criminal sanctions and educational measures for minors. It thoroughly deals with the educational measure of placement an adolescent into a correctional home. The analytical part includes an interview with the head of the education department describing the stay in the Radeče Correctional Home, a conversation with the Youth Housing Coordinator in Maribor, and a response from the professional service of the Social Work Centre Maribor in connection with the program for monitoring adolescents after being released from a correctional home. The analytical section also describes the experience of an adolescent institutionalized at age 17 due to unauthorized absences and possession of marijuana.
