Abstract:magistrski nalogi je opisan razvoj računskega modela raztapljanja soli na osnovi računalniške dinamike tekočin in njegova eksperimentalna validacija. Validacija temelji na eksperimentalnem delu oz. merjenju koncentracije solne raztopine s pomočjo merilnega instrumenta WTW Multi 3320. Preko električne prevodnosti, ki smo jo z merilcem merili, smo rezultate s funkcijo pretvorili v koncentracijo.
Keywords:Raztapljanje, solna raztopina, merjenje koncentracije, merjenje električne prevodnosti, numerična simulacija z delci, raztapljanje soli v vodi, preračun raztapljanja soli.

Title:Numerical and experimental analysis of salt dissolution in water during a mixing
Abstract:The master's thesis describes the development of a computational model of salt dissolution based on computational fluid dynamics and its experimental validation. Validation is based on experimental work which is the measurement of salt solution concentration using a WTW Multi 3320 measuring instrument. The results of electrical conductivity measured with the meter was converted to a concentration with a function. The next step was to simulate the mixing of average-sized salt particles in water to obtain an average particle velocity. The geometric model was modeled in SolidWorks and the simulation was performed in Ansys Fluent. In the end, we made an Excel calculation that describes the experimental measurements as accurately as possible.
Keywords:Dissolution, concentration measurement, electrical conductivity measurement, numerical simulation with particles, dissolution of salt in water, calculation of salt dissolution.
