Želeli smo ugotoviti, katere gibalne sposobnosti so v tem obdobju bolj razvite in katere manj. Izvedli smo šest gibalnih testov, s katerimi smo merili vzdržljivostno in eksplozivno moč, koordinacijo, ravnotežje, gibljivost in natančnost. Rezultate smo analizirali s programom SPSS in Excel. S pridobljenimi podatki smo hipotezo 1 potrdili, otroci so dosegali boljše rezultate pri testih gibljivosti, vzdržljivostni moči, eksplozivni moči in koordinaciji. Slabše razvite sposobnosti so imeli v ravnotežju in natančnosti.

Title:Preschool sports activities
Abstract:In the thesis entitled “Preschool sports activities” the motor skills of preschool children attending sport activities “Vesele žogice” have been monitored, using different motor skills test. The goal was to determine which motor skills are more and which are less developed in this particular age bracket. In addition, we wanted to determine whether there are differences in motor skills among boys and girls of a certain age. A total of 25 children, from 4 to 6 years of age, participated in the survey (13 girls and 12 boys). Six tests of motor skills have been performed, measuring endurance, explosive strength, coordination, balance, flexibility and accuracy in children. The results have been analysed by using SPSS and Excel programmes. The results allowed us to support the first hypothesis; children had better results at flexibility, endurance, explosive strength and coordination but demonstrated weaker results at balance and accuracy. The second, the third and the fourth hypotheses - on the difference among boys and girls in strength (muscular leg endurance and explosive leg strength), in flexibility and agility - had to be refuted since the statistical results of the tests showed no specific gender difference. The fifth hypothesis – children attending our sport activities will show better results at flexibility, but not as good results at balance – has been confirmed. Among all the tests the children had the biggest difficulties at “Flamingo” test and target hitting games. In general, we are satisfied with the obtained results.
