Abstract:V diplomskem delu z naslovom Motorična kreativnost predšolskih otrok smo v teoretičnem delu opisali motorični razvoj otroka, motorično nadarjenost otrok, kreativnost v gibanju in njeno merjenje ter Torranceov test. S pomočjo teorije in Torranceovega testa smo sledili glavnemu cilju, in sicer odkrivanju števila motorično nadarjenih otrok glede na kraj vrtca. Podatke smo zbirali s pomočjo kvantitativne tehnike. Merski instrument je bil Torranceov test kreativnega mišljenja, kjer smo pri štirih gibalnih nalogah vrednotili fluentnost, originalnost in fleksibilnost. Gibalne naloge so obsegale vodenje žoge od točke A do točke B, metanje žogic v posodo, gibanja s kolebnico in obročem.

Title:Motor Creativity of Preschool Children
Abstract:In this diploma paper titled Motor Creativity of Preschool Children, the theoretical part describes a child’s motor development, talent, creativity and its assessment, as well as the Torrance test. To obtain the data needed for the empirical part, a survey using the Torrance test was conducted in an urban and a rural kindergarten in January and February 2019. The main purpose of the survey was to research motor creativity in preschool children in greater detail. The theory and the Torrance test helped us pursue the main goal of discovering the number of motor-talented children according to the location of the kindergarten. The survey, using a causal non-experimental research method, covered a non-random sample from a specific population. 69 children aged 5 to 6 from two kindergartens participated in the survey. The data was collected using quantitative technique. The assessment instrument was the Torrance test of creative thinking, with which we evaluated fluency, originality, and flexibility in four movement tasks. The movement tasks entailed running a ball from point A to point B, throwing balls into a bowl, and moving with a ball and a hoop. On the basis of a t-test for independent samples, it was found that there was no statistically significant difference between the number of motor-gifted children in urban and rural kindergartens. There was also no apparent difference in the proportion of motor-gifted children by gender.
