Abstract:Na poskusnem polju UKC Pohorski dvor Fakultete za kmetijstvo in biosistemske vede v Hočah smo leta 2017 začeli s sušenjem pasje trave (Dactylis glomerata L.) in mnogocvetne ljuljke (Lolium multiflorum Lam.). Košnjo in sušenje smo izvedli v dveh terminih (17. 5. 2017 do 19. 5. 2017 in 29. 5. 2017 do 2. 6. 2017).

Title:Dynamics of ground drying cocksfoot (dctylis glomerata l.) and italian rygrass (lolium multiflorum lam.)
Abstract:In the field of the UKC Pohorski dvor, Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences in Hoče, an experiment was carried out in 2017, where Cocksfoot (Dactylis glomerata L.) and Italian Ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam.) were dried on the ground. The purpose of the diploma thesis was to determine whether there are differences in the dynamics of drying between them depending on the development phase in which the grass was located (overgrowth, initial branching, full branching oz. flowering) and on environmental factors (temperature and precipitation) during harvesting and drying. Harvesting and drying was carried out in two terms (17th May 2017 to 19th May 2017 and 29th May 2017 to 2nd June 2017). An analysis of the dry matter content of the plants after the rotation showed, that the Cocksfoot had dried faster than the Italian Ryegrass, regardless of the development phase in which it was located. The drying dynamics of the studied plant species are also strongly influenced by the climatic conditions.
Keywords:Cocksfoot, Italian Ryegrass, drying, climatic conditions, development phases
