Abstract:V diplomski nalogi smo predstavili tri najbolj razširjene igralne pogone Unity, Unreal Engine in Godot Engine. Cilj naloge je bil izpostaviti njihove medsebojne razlike, ki smo jih odkrili z razvijanjem preproste igre pikada. Pri tem smo si pomagali tudi z orodjem Blender. Ugotavljali smo tudi, kateri izmed igralnih pogonov izstopa na področju grafike, logike in razširjenosti. Postopek izdelave igre smo pri vseh treh pogonih tudi podrobneje opisali, kakor smo tudi opisali njihove prednosti in slabosti.

Title:Comparison of game engines on a simple use case
Abstract:In this thesis we represented three most popular game engines, Unity, Unreal Engine and Godot Engine. The goal of assignment was to highlight their differences that we discovered by developing a simple game of darts. Throughout the development we also used Blender. We exposed which game engine stands out in terms of graphics, logic and it’s community. The developing part of all three engines was described in details, as well as their advantages and disadvantages.
