Title:Učenje komunikacije in socialnih veščin pri odrasli osebi z motnjo v duševnem razvoju - študija primera

Abstract:Uspeh posameznika v skupini je ključnega pomena za širši uspeh v življenju. Za oba uspeha so socialne veščine in komunikacijske kompetence osnovni dejavniki, ker omogočajo, navezovanje stikov, konstruktivno reševanje problemov in vključitev v širše socialno okolje. Za odrasle z motnjo v duševnem razvoju so te osnovne spretnosti velik napor in stres prav zaradi pomanjkanja komunikacijskih kompetenc ter socialnih veščin, ki predstavljajo osnovne gradnike za socializacijo. Raziskava je temeljila na kombiniranju kvalitativnih in kvantitativnih tehnik pridobivanja podatkov s pomočjo individualizirane ocenjevalne lestvice, opazovanja z udeležbo, pogovorov s strokovnimi delavci in branja strokovnih mnenj. Rezultati v empiričnem delu naloge so pokazali, da so se izbrani osebi med praktičnimi delavnicami in po njih izboljšale socialne veščine in komunikacijske kompetence. Prav tako so rezultati pokazali, da besedila v lahko berljivi obliki pomagajo izboljšati učenje komunikacije in socialnih veščin pri odrasli osebi z motnjo v duševnem razvoju. Odrasli osebi z motnjo v duševnem razvoju se je s pomočjo besedil v lahko berljivi obliki izboljšala tudi samoiniciativnost govora.

Title:Learning of communication and social skills with intellectually disabled adult - case study
Abstract:The success of an individual in a group is crucial for wider success in life. Social and communication skills are fundamental factors for both types of these successes. The skills enable constructive solving of problems and integration into a wider social environment. These basic skills cause a great deal of effort and stress to adults with mental disorders who lack in all aspects of these skills which are basic building blocks for socialization. The research for this thesis was based on acquiring a combination of qualitative and quantitative data with the help of an evaluation scale, observation with participation, conversations with the professional staff. and reading different expert opinions. The results of the empirical part of this research showed that the subject of the research improved both her social and communication skills during and after her practical workshops. Research also showed that reading easy-to-read materials improve social and communication skills of adults with intellectual disabilities. The subject’s initiative to converse was also improved with the help of easy-to-read materials.
