Title:Gozd skozi prizmo izkustvenega učenja ob uporabi računalnika pri 8-9 letnih otrocih

Abstract:Magistrsko delo z naslovom Gozd skozi prizmo izkustvenega učenja ob uporabi računalnika pri 8–9-letnih otrocih je razdeljeno na tri dele: teoretični, praktični in empirični del. Teoretični del je razdeljen na tri sklope: naravoslovni, didaktični in geografski sklop. V naravoslovnem sklopu se osredotočimo na naravoslovje in zgodnje naravoslovje, navedene so tudi posebnosti naravoslovja. V tem sklopu je primerjava ciljev s področja naravoslovja med vrtcem, drugim in tretjim triletjem ter definicija gozda kot življenjskega prostora. Naslednji sklop zajema vsebino izkustvenega učenja, posebej so opisane tudi značilnosti 8- in 9-letnikov in informacijsko-komunikacijska tehnologija. Geografski sklop je namenjen opisu mestne četrti Pobrežje. Natančneje je opisan tudi gozd Stražun, v katerem je sam eksperiment potekal. Po teoretičnem sledi praktični del, v katerem je predstavljen namen pedagoškega eksperimenta, podrobni učni pripravi, izvedbi in evalvaciji kontrolne in eksperimentalne skupine, kjer je kontrolna skupina izvajala svoje aktivnosti v računalniški učilnici, eksperimentalna pa v gozdu. Na koncu je empirični del, kjer je opisano, kako uspešni sta bili kontrolna in eksperimentalna skupina pri reševanju preverjanja znanja in preizkusa znanja. Zanimala nas je tako uspešnost pri reševanju celotnega preverjanja znanja in preizkusa znanja kot tudi uspešnost pri reševanju posameznih nalog. Ugotovili smo, da je v našem primeru kontrolna skupina, ki je pridobivala znanje s pomočjo informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije, dosegla boljši uspeh kot eksperimentalna skupina, ki je pridobivala znanje z izkustvenim načinom učenja.

Title:Forest through the prism of experiental leatning while 8-9 years old children using a computer
Abstract:Master's thesis titled Forest through the prism of experiential learning while 8–9-year old children use a computer consists of three parts: theoretical, practical, and empirical part. In theoretical part there are Natural, Didactic, and Geographical Unit. Natural unit focuses on Natural Science, and Early Science; moreover, the features of Natural Science are listed. In the aforementioned Unit we compare objectives and aims in the field of Natural Science for kindergartens, and first and second triennium. Forest as habitat is defined. Didactic Unit talks about experiential learning, the features of 8- and 9-years, and about Information and communications technology (ICT). City district Pobrežje is described in the Geographical Unit. Moreover, forest Stražun, where the experiment took place, is described. The purpose of experiment is described in practical part; moreover, in the practical part we can find detailed lesson plans, and implementation and evaluation of experimental and control group, whereas the control group implemented tasks in the computer room, and experimental group implemented them in the forest. Empirical part describes the effectiveness of control and experimental group in doing tasks; namely the effectiveness in solving the whole test and individual tasks. It was stated that the control group which was learning in the computer room achieved more points that experimental group which was learning in the forest.
