Title:Učinkovitost bralne strategije PV3P pri predmetu družba v 5. razredu

Abstract:V diplomski nalogi z naslovom Učinkovitost bralne strategije PV3P pri predmetu družba v 5. razredu sem se v teoretičnem delu osredotočila na predmet družbo ter pojma učenje in branje, ki sta med seboj tesno povezana, saj je branje dejavnost, preko katere pridemo do novih znanj. Pri tem ni dovolj da besedilo le beremo, ampak ga moramo tudi razumeti, znati moramo izluščiti bistvo ter nove podatke povezati z že znanimi informacijami iz našega spomina. Da bi učenci besedilo čim bolje razumeli, jim lahko predstavimo bralne strategije, ki jim bodo pomagale pri obravnavi besedila ter jih usmerjale vse od aktivacije predznanja do preverjanja njihovega razumevanja besedila. Ena izmed strategij, ki jih lahko uporabimo pri obravnavi besedila je tudi bralno učna strategija PV3P. Ta vodi učence po korakih skozi celoten proces spoznavanja in branja besedila. Namen magistrske naloge je bil preveriti učinkovitost bralne strategije PV3P pri branju učbeniških besedil pri družbi. Raziskava je potekala šest tednov, izvedeni sta bili dve identični preverjanji, eno na začetku in eno ob koncu raziskave, ob koncu pa so učenci reševali še anketni vprašalnik, na podlagi katerega smo pridobili rezultate o občutkih, ki so se učencem porajali ob uporabi bralne strategije. Raziskava je pokazala, da so učenci napredovali na področju predznanja, novega znanja in razumevanja, prav tako smo potrdili povezavo med napredkom učencev in njihovimi občutki.

Title:Efficiency of reading strategy PV3P in 5th grade social studies clasroom
Abstract:In theoretical part of my master’s thesis titled Efficiency of Reading Strategy PV3P in 5th Grade Social Studies Classroom I have focused on a school subject Social Studies and two closely connected concepts – learning and reading. By reading, we gain new knowledge. However, it is not enough to solely read the text, it is crucial that we understand it, find the main ideas and connect new information with the knowledge we already possess. To help pupils understand the text better, we can introduce them to various reading strategies that will help them analyze the text and guide them from activation of their existing knowledge to text comprehension. One of the strategies we can use to analyze a text is reading strategy PV3P. This strategy leads pupils through the process of introducing and reading the text. The purpose of my thesis was to test the efficiency of reading strategy PV3P in reading textbook texts in social studies class. In the six-week long study we conducted two identical testings, one at the beginning and one towards the end of the study. At the end of the study, the pupils filled out a questionnaire that showed us how did they feel using the reading strategy. The study has shown that the pupils made a progress regarding their existing knowledge, new knowledge and comprehension, and we have also confirmed the connection between pupils’ progress and their feelings.
