Abstract:Decentralizirane aplikacije predstavljajo hitro napredujočo tehnologijo. Njihovo trenutno stanje je še v dokaj začetnih fazah, kar pomeni, da je njihov razvoj, sicer šibkeje dokumentiran, tudi precej kompleksen. S tem namenom so nastala orodja za razvoj celovitih rešitev decentraliziranih aplikacij. Eno takšnih orodij je tudi orodje Vortex, ki smo ga v magistrskem delu natančneje raziskali. Razvili smo primer aplikacije brez uporabe povezovalnih orodij in z uporabo orodja Vortex ter primerjali kompleksnost kode s pomočjo različnih metrik. Ugotovili smo, da se kompleksnost kode z uporabo orodja Vortex ne zmanjša, razvijalcem pa orodje prinaša druge prednosti, ki smo jih opisali v nalogi.

Title:Analysis of the Vortex tool complexity of use for developing comprehensive decentralized applications
Abstract:Decentralized applications represent a quickly proceeding technology. They are currently in an early phase, so their development process is poorly documented and complex. To solve this issue, specific tools were constructed for the development of comprehensive decentralized applications. In this work, we focus on one such tool, i.e. Vortex. We have developed an example application, with and without the Vortex tool and compared their code complexity based on different complexity metrics. According to the results, we concluded that the code complexity using the Vortex tool does not improve. However, Vortex brings some other advantages that we present in our work.
