Abstract:	Blockchain tehnologija in kriptovalute so vedno bolj izpostavljene medijski pozornosti kot tudi pozornosti posameznikov. V magistrskem delu smo predstavili ključne lastnosti blockchain tehnologije. Opisali smo različne kriptovalute, s poudarkom na Bitcoinu. Predstavili smo kako lahko hranimo naše kovance in žetone. Opisali smo možne načine pridobitve kriptovalut, saj je veliko ljudi, ki bi si želeli lastiti kriptovalute, ampak nimajo znanja kako priti do njih. Trg kriptovalut je nasičen z raznimi projekti, ki imajo različne namene. Pri magistrskem delu smo se odločili, da bomo predstavili perspektivne blockchain platforme. Za te platforme menimo, da je verjetnost dolgoročnega obstoja velika. Menimo, da je trg kriptovalut ter blockchain tehnologija še zelo mlada. Potencial je velik, tako iz vidika tehnologije kot iz vidika možnega zaslužka pri špekulacijah njihanja cen.

Title:	Comparative analysis of perspective blockchain platforms
Abstract:	Blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies are more and more eksposed to media attention and also attention to individuals. In our master's thesis we presented the key features of the blockchain technology. We have described different cryptocurrencies with the emphasis on Bitcoin. We also presented how we can store our coins and tokens. We have described the possible ways of acquiring cryptocurrencies, because there is many people who would like to own some of them, but they don't have the knowledge to get them. Cryptocurrency market is saturated with various projects, that have different purposes. In the master's thesis we decided to present some perspective blockchain platforms. For those platforms we believe, that the probability of long-term existence is high. We believe, that cryptocurrency market and the blockchain technology is still very young. The potential is high, both in terms of tehnology and also in terms of possible earnings in the speculation of price volatility.
