Predstavljeni so različni načini krmljenja z mlekom in mlečnimi nadomestki ter njihove priporočene sestave.

Title:The use of milk replacers for calves
Abstract:In the paper we demonstrated the breeding process of calves from birth to death, with an emphasis on the use of milk replacers. We presented numerous examples of dairy feeding as well as milk replacers. We conducted two seperate surveys on the usage of milk replacers. In the first survey, listed in Annex 1, we analyzed the feeding method for calves in their first few weeks after being born, along with when and which milk replacers farmers utilize. 64,4% of the 174 participants answered that they use local milk from week two onwards, 24,7% said that they combine milk and milk replacers and the last 10,9% said that they only use milk replacers. The daily average of whole-milk for feeding purposes is 7,68 litre. The milk replacers are indicated by numbers, where the number 1 indicates the most frequently used and the number 17 the least frequently used. We compared 17 milk replacers from different producers based on analytical constituents, composition, nutritional additives, technical and zootechnical additives. We determined that the replacer with the most components is number 12 and it is commonly used. In the second survey, listed in Annex 2, we compared two randomly selected farms that utilize milk replacers. We observed the difference between their utilization of milk replacers as well as the transition from milk replacers to compound feed.
