Title:Zagotavljanje zdravega življenjskega sloga pri pacientih z depresivno motnjo v različnih starostnih obdobjih

Abstract:Teoretična izhodišča: Depresija spada med najpogostejše duševne motnje v današnjem času. V diplomskem delu smo želeli ugotoviti kakšen je življenjski slog pacientov z depresivno motnjo v različnih starostnih obdobjih in v kolikšni meri uspejo pacienti ohraniti zdrav življenjski slog. Z zdravim življenjskim slogom v vseh življenjskih obdobjih lahko preprečimo nastanek številnih bolezni ali pa vsaj omilimo njihov potek. Zdrav življenjski slog ima pomembno vlogo tudi pri zdravljenju depresije. Metodologija: V teoretičnem delu smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo dela, v empiričnem pa kvantitativno metodo dela. Kot instrument smo uporabili anketni vprašalnik. Rezultate raziskave smo statistično obdelali v programih Microsoft Office Word in Excel. Rezultati: Ugotovili smo, da več kot polovica anketiranih (58 %) meni, da za svoje zdravje skrbijo dovolj dobro. Ugotovili smo tudi, da 10 % anketiranih ni nikoli telesno dejavnih in da povprečno spijo 7,32 ure na noč. Več kot polovica anketiranih (54 %) nikoli ne uživa alkoholnih pijač. 52 % anketiranih kadi oz. je kadilo. Sklep: Zdrav življenjski slog ima pomembno vlogo pri zdravljenju depresije, saj blaži simptome depresije, ljudje se počutijo veliko boljše, če zdravo jedo, so telesno aktivni, ne kadijo, ne pijejo ter dovolj spijo.

Title:Providing a healthy lifestyle in patients with depressive disorder at different age periods
Abstract:Introduction: Depression is one of the most common mental disorders. In the diploma thesis we wanted to investigate the lifestyle of patients with depressive disorder in different age groups and to what extent patients are able to maintain a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle can in all stages of life prevent many diseases or at least slow down the course of them. A healthy lifestyle also plays an important role in treatment of depression. Methodology: The descriptive method of work was used in the theoretical part, while quantitative method of work was used in the empirical part. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The results of the research were statistically analysed with Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Results: We found out that over half of the respondents (58 %) think they care for their health well or very well. We also found out that 10 % of respondents are never physically active and they sleep on average 7.32 hours per night. More than half of the respondents (54%) never consume alcohol. 52% of respondents smoke or did smoke. Conclusion: A healthy lifestyle plays an important role in treatment of depression since it relieves its symptoms. People also feel better if they eat healthy, are physically active, do not smoke and drink and get enough sleep.
