Title:Vpliv bioetanola na tokovne razmere v vbrizgalni šobi dizelskega motorja : diplomsko delo

Abstract:Namen diplomskega dela je ugotoviti vpliv dodatka bioetanola k dizelskem gorivu na tokovne razmere v vbrizgalni šobi oziroma v izvrtini za vbrizg goriva dizelskega motorja. Uporabljena metoda dela je bila numerična simulacija vbrizga goriva, ki je bila izvedena v programskem paketu AVL FIRE. Simulacije so se razlikovale le po lastnostih goriv, in sicer deležu etanola. Tlak vbrizga in vrtilna hitrost motorja sta bila za vse mešanice enaka. Iz rezultatov simulacij, ki prikazujejo razvoj parne faze na steni in na izstopu iz izvrtine, je možno odčitati podobne karakteristike vbrizga kot pri konvencionalnem dizelskem gorivu. Iz tega lahko sklepamo, da so mešanice dizelskega goriva z do 15 % volumenskega deleža bioetanola primerne za uporabo v obstoječih dizelskih motorjih.

Title:The influence of bioethanol fuel on flow conditions in diesel engine injectors
Abstract:The purpose of the thesis is to determine the impact of the addition of bioethanol to diesel fuel on the flow conditions inside a diesel engine fuel injector nozzle. The working method used, was a numerical fuel injection simulation, carried out using the AVL FIRE software package. The simulations differed only in terms of fuel properties, namely the proportion of ethanol. Injection pressure and the rotational speed of the engine were kept the same for all fuel mixtures. From the results of the simulations, which show the evolution of the vapor phase on the wall and at the outlet of the borehole, similar injection characteristics can be observed as with conventional diesel fuel. From this we can conclude, that blends of diesel fuel with up to 15 % of bioethanol content by volume, are suitable for use in existing diesel engines.
