Abstract:
Diplomska naloga obravnava čiščenje pitne in tehnološke vode s peščenimi filtri. Predstavljeni sta pitna in tehnološka voda, njune kemične in fizikalne lastnosti, ter načini pridobivanja in priprave vode. Opisane so različne oblike filtracije, razdelana je zgradba peščenega filtra in procesi, ki se odvijajo med filtracijo. Prikazan je pomen porozne snovi in vplivi na filtracijo. V nalogi je izveden analitični preračun padca tlaka od pretoka skozi različne filtrne medije in velikosti zrna v mediju.

Title:
Use of sand filters for drinking and process water purification
Abstract:
This work deals with the purification of drinking and process water using sand filters. The chemical and physical properties, as well as the methods of water purification and preparation are presented for drinking and process water. Various forms of filtration are described, the structure of the sand filter is processed and the processes that take place during filtration. The importance of the porous substance and the effects on filtration is shown. An analytical calculation is carried out explaining that the pressure drop depends on the flow through various filter media and grain size in the medium.
