Abstract:Organizacija dogodkov je kompleksen proces, ki zajema veliko aktivnosti in zahteva znanja projektnega managementa. Prvi del sestavlja teoretični okvir, ki predstavlja izhodišča o projektih in projektnem managementu, upravljanju dogodkov, računalništvu v oblaku in oblačnih sodelovalnih orodjih. Drugi del magistrske naloge predstavlja analizo primera načrtovanja, priprave in izvedbe realnega dogodka, pri organizaciji katerega sem preizkusila oblačno sodelovalno orodje in poskušala ugotoviti, ali uporaba le-tega pripomore k boljšemu načrtovanju dogodka in komunikaciji med člani projektnega tima.

Title:Collaborative Cloud Tools for Event Management: a Case Analysis
Abstract:The organization of events is a complex process that includes various activities and requires project management knowledge. Since it involves many stakeholders and members of the project team, the process of planning and preparing an event must be well thought out, which requires a lot of time. Cloud collaboration tools that are part of cloud computing can facilitate the process of event management because they allow us to communicate faster in real time. At the same time, they enable us to plan the event more efficiently as all the data is collected in single place – in a cloud which can be accessed by all members of the project team, no matter the time and place. This master's thesis is divided into two parts. The first part consists of a theoretical framework, which outlines projects, project management, event management, cloud computing, and collaborative cloud tools. The second part comprises a case analysis of planning, preparing, and executing a real event, which I used to test a collaborative cloud tool and try to determine whether its use contributes to a better event planning communication between the members of the project team.
