Abstract:
Namen diplomskega projekta z naslovom Poslovni potencial veriženja blokov je bil podrobneje raziskati varnost in uporabnost tehnologije veriženja blokov ter elementov, ki se nahajajo znotraj te tehnologije. V prvem delu smo se osredotočili na osnove tehnologije veriženja. Tako smo pridobili znanje o tem kako je ta tehnologija sploh zgrajena, kakšno je njeno delovanje, možnosti njene uporabe v poslovnih konceptih ter varnost, ki je ključnega pomena za pridobitev uporabnikov. V drugem delu je bil poudarek na kripto valutah. Podrobneje smo si pogledali tri kripto valute, ki so visoko na lestvici kapitalizacije trga in sicer prva izmed njih je Bitcoin, ki je širši javnosti najbolje poznana kripto valuta, nato sledi predstavitev Ethereum-a, ki je valuta in hkrati platforma za podporo aplikacij imenovanih dApps, kot zadnjo pa smo opisali kripto valuto Litecoin. V tretjem delu sledi podrobnejši opis platform, ki se nahajajo znotraj tehnologije veriženja blokov. Najbolj razširjena je Ethereum, ki podpira nastajanje uporabniških ter varnostnih žetonov, kasneje sta predstavljeni še NEO, ki ima v lasti dva žetona NEO ter GAS in Ripple, ki predstavlja plačilno omrežje ter kripto valuto Ripple XRP. V zadnjem delu teče beseda o najnovejšem svetovnem fenomenu, o tako imenovanih javnih ponudbah kovancev, ki so bolj poznani pod kratico ICO projekti. V tem delu smo se osredotočili na opredelitev tako imenovanih sodobnih projektov, na statistiko njihove uspešnosti ter zaključili z najodmevnejšimi Slovenskimi javnimi ponudbami kovancev.

Title:
Business potential of blockchain
Abstract:
The main purpose of this paper with the tittle of Business Potential of Blockchain was to take into the details the security and usefulness of Blockchain technology and the elements that are a part of it. In the first part, we focused on the basics of Blockchain technology. This is how we learned how the technology is structured, how it works, how to apply it to business concepts and about its security, which is crucial for obtaining users. In the second part we focused on crypto currencies. We took a look at three crypto currencies which are high on the scale of market capitalization. The first one is Bitcoin, which is the best known crypto currency, the second is Ethereum, which is a currency and also a platform for supporting applications known as dApps and the last crypto currency we described is Litecoin. In the third part we made a detailed description of platforms, which are also a part of technology of Blockchain. The best known is Ethereum that supports the creation of utility and security tokens. Lastly we introduced NEO with two tokens of its own named NEO and GAS and the Ripple which presents payment network and crypto currency Ripple XRP. In the last part we talked about the newest global phenomenon: Initial coin offering, which is better known as ICO projects. In this part we focused on the classification of so called innovative projects and on their performance statistics. We concluded with the newest Slovenian Initial coin offering.
