Abstract:
Ravnanje s komunalnimi odpadki lahko danes predstavlja nerešljiv problem, lahko pa tudi novo priložnost. Občina Ilirska Bistrica je po zaprtju odlagališča nenevarnih odpadkov v Jelšanah odvisna izključno od vožnje zbranih odpadkov na odlagališča po Sloveniji, trenutno v Tržič. V diplomskem delu želimo predstaviti pred nekaj leti uveden nov način ravnanja s komunalnimi odpadki v občini Ilirska Bistrica, kako na sistem ločenega zbiranja odpadkov gledajo občani, predvsem pa raziskati, kako bi lahko z dodatnimi ukrepi povečali učinkovitost ločevanja. Analiza trenutnega stanja je bila opravljena s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, ki je vseboval 13 vprašanj. Iz vsebine prejetih odgovorov ugotavljamo, da je bil sistem ločenega zbiranja odpadkov dobro sprejet in da je ostalo še nekaj neizkoriščenih možnosti, ki jih bo v bodoče treba izkoristiti.

Title:
Waste management in ilirska bistrica community
Abstract:
Municipal waste management can nowadays either pose a serious problem or a new opportunity. Ever since the hazardous waste landfill located in Jelšane was closed down, the Municipality of Ilirska Bistrica has been dependent exclusively on transporting the collected waste to other landfills, currently to Tržič. The aim of the thesis is to present a new approach to municipal waste management introduced in the Municipality of Ilirska Bistrica several years ago, how the citizens perceive the system of separate waste collection, and above all to further investigate how to improve its effectiveness through additional measures. The analysis of the current situation was carried out using a survey questionnaire consisting of 13 questions. The answers show that the system of separate waste collection was well received, but there is some untapped potential that should be exploited in the future.
