Abstract:Med vasema Logarovci in Grabe pri Ljutomeru je bil izveden poskus z namenom preučitve vpliva aplikacijske tehnike in velikosti kapljic škropilne brozge na stopnjo učinkovitosti delovanja herbicidov, s posebnim poudarkom na vrsto navadni srakoperec (Apera spica-venti L.).

Title:Influance of Spray Nozzle on Weed Control Efficiency in wheat (Triticum aestivum l.)
Abstract:Between the villages Logarovci and Grabe pri Ljutomeru a field trial was carried out with the purpose, of investigating the influence of application technique and droplet size on the effectiveness rate of herbicides, with a special emphasis on common windgrass (Apera spica-venti L.). The field experiment was designed as a multifactorial trial. We investigated three different factors: nozzle type (Lechler LU, Lechler IDK, Teejet TTJ), flow rate (02,04) and period of application (T1,T2). Herbicides were applied with a field mounted Tractor boom sprayer. The effectiveness rate of the herbicides was analysed with a direct visual evaluation method three and six weeks after herbicide application. At the end of the trial we harvested the Wheat with a field- combine harvester. Results in weeds and common windgrass showed significant interactions between nozzles and herbicide application period. The relation between application period and nozzle flow rate was not statistically significant. Results of field yield´- evaluation showed that the application technique, besides the typical influence on weed control efficiency, also has a significant effect on the wheat yield. From an average point of view, anti-drift nozzles produced similar or even better results than standard nozzles
