Abstract:
V današnjem času se mora vsako podjetje truditi za obstoj in prednost pred konkurenco. Proizvodni proces je treba nenehno izboljševati in investirati v novo tehnologijo in opremo, da bi izpolnili pričakovanja in zahteve kupcev. Prav tako je pomembna dobra organiziranost v proizvodnih podjetjih, saj podjetje lahko le z dobro organiziranostjo uspešno posluje. Ker se tega zavedajo tudi v proizvodnji Papirnice Vevče in želijo izboljševati proizvodni proces, so se odločili narediti korak naprej in investirali v novo opremo. Ker je bil stroj za premazovanje papirja Billblade v Papirnici Vevče zastarel in njegovo vzdrževanje ter servisiranje ni bilo več mogoče, saj rezervnih delov ni bilo na voljo, okvara stroja pa bi povzročila zastoj proizvodnje in izgubo, so se v podjetju odločili za investicijo v nov stroj. Tako so se leta 2013 odločili za nov stroj za premazovanje papirja Filmpresse ali »filmpreša«, kot mu pravijo v podjetju. V diplomskem delu predstavimo in analiziramo stanje pred in po investiciji. Poleg primerjave strojev Billblade in Filmpresse glede proizvodne zmogljivosti so nas zanimale predvsem koristi, ki so jih pridobili z vgradnjo novega dela stroja, stroški investicije, usposabljanje zaposlenih in ali se je investicija podjetju izplačala. Po analizi podatkov, ki smo jih pridobili med raziskovanjem in pisanjem diplomskega dela, lahko rečemo, da se je investicija podjetju izplačala, posledično pa se je izboljšal tudi proizvodni proces. Ker na novem stroju premazovanje papirja poteka hitreje, in sicer s hitrostjo 1.100 m/min, na starem Billbladeu pa je potekalo s hitrostjo 950 m/min, se je proizvodna zmogljivost v Papirnici Vevče povečala za kar 20.000 ton letno. To pomeni tudi, da so se povečali prihodki od prodaje papirja. Zmanjšala se je tudi poraba energije, saj je novo postrojenje energetsko bolj varčno in premazno mešanico s pomočjo dveh valjev nanaša enakomerno. Izboljšala se je tudi kakovost papirja.

Title:
Production process improvement in papirnica vevče company
Abstract:
Nowadays, each company must strive for its existence and its competitive advantage. It is necessary to improve the production process all the time and invest into new technology and equipment in order to fulfil the expectations and demands of customers. In production companies, good organization is also important, since a company can only be successful through good organization. Since the production of the paper mill Papirnica Vevče is aware of this and wants to improve its production process, they decided to take another step and invest into new equipment. Since the Billblade machine for paper coating in paper mill Papirnica Vevče was outdated and its maintenance and service was no longer possible due to the unavailability of spare parts and a fault of the machine would produce a production jam and loss of profit, the company decided to invest into a new machine. In 2013, they consequently bought the new paper coating machine Filmpresse or “filmpreša”, as they call it. In the thesis, we present and analyse the state before and after the investment. In addition to the comparison of the machines Billblade and Filmpresse regarding their production capabilities, we were interested particularly in the benefits of the installation of the new machine, the investment costs, employee training and whether the investments paid off to the company. After the analysis of the data, obtained during research and writing of the thesis, we can say that the investment has paid off to the company and consequently the production process has improved. Since the new machine enables faster paper coating, namely with the speed 1.100 m/min; the old one worked at the speed of 950 m/min, the production capacity in the paper mill Papirnica Vevče increased for as much as 20.000 tons annually. This means that the income from the sale of paper also increased. The use of energy also decreased, since the new machinery is more energy efficient and the coating mixture is being evenly applied with two rollers. The quality of paper also improved.
