Abstract:
Probiotiki so živi mikroorganizmi, ki dokazano pozitivno učinkujejo na zdravje gostitelja, če jih zaužije v zadostnih količinah. Probiotični sevi imajo različne mehanizme delovanja in opravljajo specifične naloge. Na trgu je dostopnih vedno več probiotičnih izdelkov, predvsem v obliki prehranskih dopolnil. Zaradi potrošniške industrije moramo biti pozorni, da za probiotike štejemo zgolj izdelke, ki so analizirani in vsebujejo probiotične seve, katerih učinke potrjujejo klinične raziskave. V magistrskem delu smo preverili vpliv različnih probiotikov na rast in preživetje bakterije Escherichia coli v mleku.

Title:
Influence of various probiotics on the survival and growth of Escherichia coli in milk
Abstract:
Probiotics are live microorganisms with proven benefits for the host's health when consumed in required amounts. Probiotic strains have different function mechanisms and execute specific tasks. The market offers ever more probiotic products, especially in the form of supplements. The consumer industry can be treacherous, therefore, we must pay attention and consider as probiotics only the products that have been analysed and contain probiotic strains with clinically-proven effects. This master thesis investigates the influence of various probiotics on the growth and survival of the bacteria Escherichia coli in milk.
