Abstract:
Diplomsko delo temelji na preučitvi obstoječega stanja v izbranem podjetju in podanih konkretnih predlogih za izboljšavo oziroma prenovo logističnih procesov. Teoretično so opredeljeni logistični procesi, pojem prenove poslovnih procesov in razlika med funkcijsko in procesno organiziranostjo podjetij, saj so to osnovna izhodišča za poglobljeno obravnavo in natančno razumevanje izbrane tematike. V izbranem podjetju je predstavljen osnovni problem, izhajajoč iz funkcijske organiziranosti, ki zaradi svoje togosti podjetju ne omogoča, da bi bilo v koraku s sodobnimi logističnimi smernicami in da bi bilo v enakovrednem položaju s konkurenco, ki je po večini procesno organizirana. Posledično je podjetje manj odzivno na spremembe na trgu in posveča premajhno pozornost informacijski podpori. Slednja je v današnjem času hitrih sprememb nujno potrebna, če se želi podjetje razvijati, napredovati in se prožno prilagajati obstoječim razmeram na trgu. Podjetje ima trenutno visoke stroške, ki jih pripisujemo funkcijskemu načinu organiziranosti, zato je glavni cilj našega predloga izkoristiti skrite rezerve oziroma potenciale v podjetju ter tako dolgoročno s prenovo organiziranosti in procesov zmanjšati stroške. V delu smo predstavili pristop in rešitev, ki nista primerna zgolj za izbrano podjetje, temveč tudi za vsa ostala, ki se soočajo s potrebo po prenovi svoje organiziranosti in procesov.

Title:
Renovation of logistics processes in a chosen company
Abstract:
The diploma thesis is based on studying the existing condition in the selected company, and on given proposals to improve or reform the logistics processes. Logistics processes, the conception of reformation of business processes, and the difference between functional and process organization of the companies are defined theoretically, for these are the basic starting points for an in-depth discussion and a thorough understanding of the selected topic. In the selected company, the basic problem, deriving from the functional organization, is presented. Due to its rigidity, the latter does not enable the company to be in step with the modern logistics directives and to be in an equitable competitive position with the process-organized companies. Consequently, the company is less responsive with regards to the changes in the market and pays too little attention to information support. The latter is of essential importance in the present time of rapid changes if the company is to be developed, to progress and to adapt flexibly to the existing circumstances in the market. Currently, the company has had high expenditures, which are to be attributed to the functional method of organization. Therefore, it is the main goal of our proposal to take advantage of the hidden reserves and the potentials of the company, and, thus, diminish the costs by means of reformation of organization and processes in long-term. In the thesis, we presented the approach and the solution which are appropriate not only for the selected company but also for every other company who are faced with the need to reform their organizations and processes.
