Abstract:Cilj magistrske naloge je razviti in izdelati energijsko avtonomen brezžični merilnik vlažnosti in temperature zemlje.
Keywords:Brezžični merilnik, avtonomno napajanje, krmilnik, pretvornik, vlažnost, temperatura, zemlja, fotovoltaična celica.

Title:Autonomous powered wireless soil moisture and temperature meter
Abstract:The purpose of the master thesis is to develop and create energy autonomous wireless soil moisture and temperature meter, powered by electricity from small battery, filled with a photovoltaic cell. It transfers the measured temperature and humudity data of the soil wirelessly to the receiver, which is installed in the lawn watering device. The meter has the following components: fotovoltaic cell, boost converter, Li-ion battery, HF oscillator of stable frequency, capacitive measuring circuit, circuit for measuring of root mean square, microcontroller for processing measured signals and RF transmitting module. The master thesis explains the way of measuring moisture and temperature in the soil and describes the construction of the components of the measuring device. The results of the measurements are presented both in textual and graphic form.
Keywords:Wireless meter, autonomous power supply, controller, converter, moisture, temperature, soil, photovoltaic cell.
