Title:Deformation analysis of geodetic networks for structural stability assessment using Hannover method
Abstract:On the surface, where big displacements of ground and structures is expected, monitoring is done, which is combined from different fields, such as geotechnics, hidrotechnics, geodetics etc. This Masters thesis deals with Hannover method, which is deformation analysis approach for determing displacements in geodetic network. Together with this method, classic three-dimensional measurments and leveling are used. Based on geodetic observations, displacements of the surface are determined. In the first section, measurment procedures and used equipment is presented. Afterwards, basic about displacements and deformations are described alongside brief presentation of other deformation analysis methods. This is followed by the description of Hannover method, which is broken down into 7 steps. Later, detailed analysis of three different structures on Slovenian highway system is done. Leveling for viaduct is measured. Based on three epochs, vertical displacements are determined. Stone foundation is measured using classic three-dimensional methods. Size and angles of displacemenets is calculated between three different epochs. Anchored pile wall is main topic of the thesis. Classic three-dimensional method and deformation analysis is done. Displacements of observed points and error ellipses are also graphically presented.
