Abstract:
Diplomska naloga obravnava eksperimentalno testiranje različnih feritnih jeder. Le ta so v kombinaciji z ustrezno tuljavo uporabljena v številnih aplikacijah nizkih kakor tudi visokih frekvenc. Preizkuse smo izvedli v Laboratoriju za aplikativno elektromagnetiko, kjer smo merili frekvenčno odvisnost začetne permeabilnosti in frekvenčno odvisnost relativnega izgubnega faktorja jeder. Drugi vidik raziskave pa je zajemal vpliv obnašanja jeder na povišano temperaturo, saj se magneta jedra obnašajo drugače v primeru znatno povišanih temperatur. Zato smo izvedli vse teste pri treh različnih temperaturah z namenom ugotavljanja temperaturne odvisnosti sistema. Za ta namen smo uporabili toplotno komoro, rezultati testiranj pa so potrdili našo začetno tezo.

Title:
Characterization of various ferrite cores
Abstract:
This thesis deals with various experimental testing of different ferrite cores. They are widely used in numerous applications for low and high frequencies using a selected coil. The testing has been carried out in the Laboratory of applied electromagnetics, where a frequency dependent initial permeability and a frequency dependent relative loss factor had been explored. Second aspect that was under an investigation was increased temperature, since magnetic coils behave differently exposed to higher temperatures. Hence we performed all test exposed to three different temperatures in order to investigate systems temperature stability. For this purpose, a heat chamber had been used and the results confirmed our start thesis.
