Abstract:
Osrednja tema te magistrske naloge je zasebni oblak z osredotočanjem na načrtovanje in pripravo za prenos informacijske tehnologije. Podjetja se odločajo za shranjevanje podatkov v zasebnem oblaku predvsem z vidika varnosti. Zasebni oblak prav tako prinaša večjo zmogljivost in nadzor. Podjetja vedno stremijo h konkurenčnosti, zato morajo biti sposobna obdelovati podatke na hiter, analitičen in učinkovit način, pri tem pa ne smejo ogroziti varnosti teh podatkov. Implementacija zasebne oblačne infrastrukture je specifična za vsako podjetje, saj je odvisna od same infrastrukture podjetja in od ciljev, ki jih želi podjetje z implementacijo doseči. Pri izbiri ponudnika zasebnega oblaka, svetovalca in/ali orodij za orkestracijo oblaka moramo imeti zastavljene točne cilje. Na tem mestu dobimo povratno informacijo, ali so ti cilji uresničljivi in realistični ter okvirno oceno stroškov investicije. Le tako lahko od izbranega ponudnika zahtevamo, da naše cilje uresniči. Načrtovanje je ključen del tega procesa, pri čemer moramo sistematično zbrati informacije o naši infrastrukturi ob upoštevanju sprememb, ki so potrebne za nadgradnjo. Prav tako je ključnega pomena, da pri celotnem procesu sodelujejo različni oddelki v podjetju, da bi zagotovili prilagojeno rešitev. Prenos informacijske tehnologije je zapleten in strukturiran proces, ki zahteva poznavanje procesov, ki tečejo znotraj podjetja.

Planning and implementation of private cloud computing
Abstract:
Main topic of this master thesis is private cloud with focus on planning and implementation of cloud computing. Companies decide on storing their data in private clouds mostly because of security aspects. Other reasons to decide on private cloud are performance and control. Companies always strive to be more competitive, that is why it is important to have the ability to process information in a fast, analytical and efficient way, while not compromising the security of this information. Implementation of private cloud infrastructure is very specific for each company itself, because it is dependent on the infrastructure of the specific company and the goals that they wish to achieve with this implementation. While choosing a private cloud provider, consultant and/or cloud orchestration tools we must set specific goals. This is how we can get constructive feedback about feasibility of these goals, whether they are realistic and also an estimate of the cost of the entire investment. This is how we can demand these goals to be met by the provider. Planning in a key part of the entire process, were we must systematically gather information about our infrastructure, while taking in account all the changes that need to be made in order to upgrade the infrastructure. It is also vital that all the departments of the company are included in the process in order to adjust the solution to them. Implementation of private cloud computing is a complicated and structured process which demands knowledge of the processes which run in the company.
