Abstract:
Teoretična izhodišča: V diplomskem delu je predstavljena deklica z Rettovim sindromom.To je razvojno nevrološka motnja, za katero je značilen upad psihomotoričnega razvoja. Ugotoviti smo želeli negovalne probleme, ki se pojavljajo pri teh otrocih. Raziskovalne metode: V raziskavi smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo dela. Raziskava je temeljila na kvalitativni metodologiji. Izvedli smo študijo primera s pomočjo tehnike intervjuja ter modela 14 življenjskih aktivnosti Virginie Henderson. Rezultati: Spoznali smo deklico z Rettovim sindromom ter težave, s katerimi se srečuje njena družina. S pomočjo študije primera smo ugotovili, da se težave pojavljajo ne samo v duševnem razvoju, ampak tudi v telesnem. Diskusija in zaključek: Rettov sindrom lahko za sabo povleče še veliko drugih zdravstvenih težav, kot je na primer popolna nepokretnost otroka. Vendar je vsaka družina, ki skrbi za takega otroka, nekaj posebnega. Skrb lahko družino še bolj poveže in splete še trdnejše vezi.

Title:
Children with rett syndrome
Abstract:
Theoretical introduction: In this diploma work a medical case of a girl suffering Rett syndrome is shown. This is a developmental neurological disorder showing significant psychomotorical retardation. We wanted to outline nursing problems, which occur with patient suffering this disease. Research methodology: This work is based on a descriptive method and on quantitative methodology. Our study was made with the use of an interview technique and with a model of 14 different components based on personal needs, written by Virginia Henderson. Results: We met a girl suffering Rett syndrome and identified the problems her family is having in everyday life. The results of our study show that problems occur on both physical and mental development. Discussion and conclusion: Rett syndrome may cause many more health related problems, such as complete immobility. On the other hand every family related with this disease, taking care and nursing a child suffering Rett syndrome is unique and can strengthen family bonds even more.
