Samostojnost in »samost« sta velika odgovornost.

Title:BEGINNER DRIVERS ATTITUDE TOWARDS BEGINNER DRIVER EDUCATION COURSES
Abstract:Future drivers of motor vehicles experience their first steps into traffic at a driving school. There the candidate for driving license learns to drive on all types of roads. After obtaining the driving license the novice drivers face driving on their own. Independence and driving alone are a big responsibility. The driver definitely encounters various situations on the road, of which some can be dangerous. On 13th August 2010 Republic of Slovenia enacted the Law on drivers, which states that a novice driver has to undertake a post-license training course in safe driving in two years after having obtained his or her driving license. In this course drivers acquire additional knowledge and experience that benefit them in unpredictable situations. The number of car accidents causing severe injuries or deaths has been decreasing in Slovenia since 2011. The post-license training course is definitely one piece in a puzzle of measures that are taken in Slovenia to improve traffic safety. In the research part of the thesis my goal is to investigate the opinions of novice drivers about the course itself. I conducted a survey at the AMZS Safe Driving Center, which offers the course, and concluded that the course participants find it reasonable and necessary.
