Abstract:Hiter tehnološki razvoj, konkurenčnost, visoka pričakovanja kupcev in zunanjih partnerjev so tisto, kar lastnikom podjetja povzroča visok pritisk. Danes podjetje, ki ni pripravljeno oz. noče avtomatizirati poslovanja, ni konkurenčno na tržišču. Organizacije za celovito podporo in avtomatizacijo poslovnih procesov uporabljajo celovite programske rešitve (Enterprise resource planing systems ERP). To je celovita programska rešitev podjetja ,ki poskrbi za povezanost in delovanje podjetja. V nalogi obravnavamo uvedbo celovite programske rešitve v manjšem telekomunikacijskem podjetju X. Problem je zanimiv, saj v Sloveniji prevladujejo majhna podjetja, ki običajno nimajo dovolj sredstev (finančnih in kadrovskih) za uvedbo tovrstnih rešitev, nekateri pa niso pripravljeni oziroma imajo odpor do uvedbe novih tehnologij in sprememb procesov v podjetje.

Title:IMPLEMENTATION OF BUSINESS INFORMATION SYSTEM IN A TELECOMMUNICATION COMPANY
Abstract:Technological development, competitiveness, high expectations of customers and external partners is what the owners of the company causes pressure. Company which is not ready or owners refusing to start business with automated processes is not competitive in the marketplace. To make work processes automated well and successful companies needs to start thinking about "ERP", Enterprise Resource Planning System which will help with process automatization. Distribution process management, supply chain management, services knowledge base, accounting and financial applications, lower purchasing costs, manage human resources and much more. To make such processes work well and successfully companies needs comprehensive software solutions to reach the goal. The problem which will be discussed in the present Master's Thesis is to solve the disorganization and non-automation processes in the telecommunication company X. We will focus on all areas. Such organization and management, finance, supply, and logistics, project management and more. The above mentioned problem is interesting because Slovenia has lots of small businesses that do not have sufficient financial resources for the introduction of Enterprise Resource Planning System, and some are not ready or have an aversion to the introduction of new technologies and changes in their business.
