Abstract:
V teoretičnem delu smo na kratko opisali kaj lutka in lutkovnost sploh pomeni in nekaj o zgodovini lutkarstva na Slovenskem.

Title:
SETTING UP A PUPPET SHOW FOR CHILDREN
Abstract:
The thesis entitled Setting up a Puppet Show for Children focuses on how to set up a puppet show for kindergarten children. The theoretical part briefly describes the puppet, defines the art of puppetry and outlines the history of puppetry in Slovenia. The main focus was on the methods of using puppets in kindergartens, as well as the puppetry techniques, and finally, the general presentation of the puppet theatre. The heart of our instigation was on setting up a puppet show, determining the properties of a good puppet show and making it suitable for a certain age group of children. As described in the theoretical part, the empirical one reveals the information of how the kindergarten teachers set up a puppet show for children. The descriptive method of research was used. The data were collected by quantitative survey, consisting of a closed-type questions. The results revealed the kindergarten teachers, who took the survey, prepare the puppets shows several times a year, usually at the time of the important events. All the teachers cooperate with each other. Most commonly, the puppet shows are set up for children of the first and second age group and the practice mostly takes more than one week. The most commonly they choose staged adaptations of fairy tales, showed by hand puppets, hand-made by gluing and sowing textile. The teachers introduce the show using a narrator and mostly play recorded music in the end. Text is spoken by the puppets themselves. After the puppet show the puppeteers invite the children to participate in the artistic activities.
