Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi smo raziskovali uvedbo elektronskega zdravstvenega kartona pacienta za potrebe veterinarske klinike za male živali. To bi pripomoglo h kvalitetnejšemu zbiranju in analizi zdravstvenih podatkov pacientov, kar posledično lahko pripomore k uspešnejšemu strokovnemu nadzoru pa tudi boljšim poslovnim rezultatom. V prvem delu diplome so na splošno predstavljeni lastnosti zdravstvenih informacijskih sistemov v veterini in sam pomen zdravstvenega kartona pacienta. V drugem delu je predstavljeno obstoječe stanje in obstoječa programska rešitev Recepcija za male živali. Nato so razloženi razlogi za uvedbo nove rešitve in predstavljena je uporaba programske rešitev StringSoft Veterinary Management Software® (StringSoft Inc., Delaware, ZDA), katera uvedba v proučevani kliniki je v zaključku tudi ovrednotena.

Title:
IMPLEMENTATION OF ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD AT SMALL ANIMALS CLINIC
Abstract:
In this diploma thesis, we investigated the introduction of electronic medical records of the patient in the examined veterinary clinic. Electronic medical records could contribute to a higher quality collection and analysis of medical data of patients, which in turn can contribute to a more successful professional supervision as well as better business results. In the first part we will present the general attributes of health information system in the veterinary and the sheer importance of the patient medical records. In the second part we will analyse existing situation and existing software application in use Reception for small animals. Further are explained the reasons for the introduction of new software application StringSoft Veterinary Management Software® (StringSoft Inc., Delaware, USA), which is widely used by many foreign veterinary clinics for small animals. Further we detail usage of the presented software applicatonn StringSoft Veterinary Management Software® (StringSoft Inc., Delaware, USA) and evaluate its introduction to examined veterinary clinic.
