Abstract:
V diplomskem delu je predstavljena komunikacija in varnost bolnika v operacijski dvorani, kot element profesionalne zdravstvene nege kirurškega bolnika. Ne glede na obseg, mesto in predvideno trajanje operacije, se vsi bolniki soočajo z istimi strahovi. Potrebnih je veliko informacij za lažje razumevanje bolezni in nadaljevanje zdravljenja. Pravilen način komuniciranja in skrb za varnost bolnika v času priprave na operativni poseg in v sami operacijski dvorani, vedno vplivata na potek ter izid samega operativnega posega. Namen diplomskega dela je bil predstaviti kaj vse moramo upoštevati pri pripravi bolnika na operativni poseg, da poskrbimo za varnost bolnika v največji možni meri.

Communication and concern for patient safety in the operating room
Abstract:
In the diploma paper is presented the communication and patient safety in the operating room as an element of professional nursing care of the surgical patient. Irrespective of the extent, location and anticipated duration of the operation, all patients face the same fears. It takes a lot of informations, for a better understanding of the disease and continuation of treatment. The correct way of communication and concern for the safety of the patient at time of surgery and in the oparating room, always affect the course and outcome of the surgery itself. The purpose of the diploma paper was to present what we have to consider in the preparation of the patient at the surgery to take care for the safety of the patient to the gratest extend possible.
