Abstract:Zaključno projektno delo podaja pregled in razvoj vezja za merjenje nivoja tekočine v rezervoarju. V našem projektnem delu se podrobneje opisuje delovanje vezja in opis komponent, ki so prispevale končnemu izdelku. Sistem je izgrajen na testni ploščici in vsebuje vse komponente za optimalno delovanje v testnem okolju. Komunikacija z zunanjim okoljem uporablja standardne protokole in vmesnike. Meritve temeljijo na kombinaciji mikrokrmilnika in ultrazvočnega senzorja.

Title:Measuring fluid level using ultrasonic method
Abstract:The final work provides an overview and development of circuit that measures fluid level in container. Report contains instructions and information of how the project works and description of resources like components that leaded the project to its final form. The system was developed on breadboard and contains all components for optimal functioning test conditions. Communication with external world is made by using standard protocols, in our case universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter and serial peripheral interface bus. Measurements are based on combination between microcontroller and ultrasonic analog front-end.
Keywords:time of flight of ultrasound, ultrasound, ultrasonic sensor
