Abstract:Namen diplomske naloge je bil analizirati in medsebojno primerjati vzorce peloda jesenske paše domače čebele iz različnih lokacij, izbranih v regiji Prekmurje. Izbrane lokacije so bile Dokležovje, Dobrovnik in Prosečka vas. Pobranega smo zamrznili, posušili in shranili do analize. Čebelam najatraktivnejše vrste rastlin so bile, poleg navedenih dveh, še plazeča detelja (Trifolium repens), žlezava nedotika (Impatiens glandulifera), polajeva materina dušica (Thymus pulegioides), navadni potrošnik (Cichorium intybus) in navadni regrat (Taraxacum officinale).

Title:Palynological Analysis and Comparison of Pollen Harvested in Autumn by Honeybees (Apis mellifera) from Different Locations in Prekmurje
Abstract:The purpose of the graduation thesis was to analyse and compare different samples of pollen harvested in autumn by honeybees in different locations selected in the Prekmurje region. The chosen locations were Dokležovje, Dobrovnik, and Prosečka vas. In all locations pollen was collected in the same period, from 1 September to 30 September 2016. The collected pollen was frozen, dried, and stored until the analysis. At the same time as we collected samples, we also took an inventory of plants within a radius of five kilometres from the location of apiary. In microscopic analysis of pollen we were mainly interested in species composition of samples and shares of individual pollen species in the samples. From the results we were able to discern attractiveness of individual autumn blossoming plant for bees. For each sample we also determined Shannon-Weaver diversity index and species evenness index. The results can be a great guideline for choosing a location for apiary in Prekmurje. We established species evenness to a certain extent. Shares of individual types of pollen differed from location to location, but in all samples we noticed a predominance of pollen grains of buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum) and charlock mustard (Sinapis arvensis). In addition to the stated ones, the most attractive plant species for bees were also white clover (Trifolium repens), Hymalayan balsam (Impatiens glandulifera), broad-leaved thyme (Thymus pulegioides), chicory (Cichorium intybus), and dandelion (Taraxacum officinale). Based on all the collected results and values of both indices, we established that in the period of our sampling the most appropriate location for an apiary was Prosečka vas.
