Abstract:Diplomska naloga zajema proces avtomatizacije elektro obločne peči za taljenje jekla. Predstavili bomo zahteve naročnika, opisali posamezne komponente avtomatizacije, postopek izdelave programske opreme ter kreiranje vizualizacije vmesnika. Program in HMI vmesnik bomo nato s pomočjo simulacijskega programa testirali še pred fizično implementacijo. Na koncu bomo predstavili proces zagona naprave.

Title:ELECTRIC ARC FURNACE AUTOMATION
Abstract:Automation, Electric Arc Furnace, Controller, Steel making plant
Keywords:The thesis includes the process of automating an Electric Arc Furnace for melting scrap metal. We will present the customer's requirements, describe the individual automation components and describe the process of creating the software and HMI interface for it. The program and HMI interface will then be tested prior to physical implementation and commissioning, using a simulation program. At the end we will descrive the process of starting up the oven in to operation.
