Abstract:V diplomskem delu so predstavljene bistvene lastnostni sistemov daljinskega ogrevanja na lesno biomaso v smislu zmanjšanja izpustov toplogrednih plinov ter trajnostnega razvoja. Izveden je tehnični izračun predpostavljenega sistema v manjšem kraju in primerjava stroškov ogrevanja individualnih sistemov s stroški ogrevanja v primeru prehoda na sistem daljinskega ogrevanja. Pri ekonomskem izračunu sta bila upoštevana primera brez in s pridobitvijo nepovratnih sredstev, kar je prikazalo njihov pomen za realizacijo takšnih projektov.

Title:Biomass district heating systems and their importance in the field of sustainability development and the transition to a low carbon society
Abstract:This thesis represents the main features of wooden biomass district heating systems in terms of reducing the greenhouse gas emissions and sustainability development. A technical calculation of a presumed system in a small town was carried out and a comparison of heating costs of individual heating systems with the heating costs in the case of transition to a district heating system was made. The economical calculation took into account cases with and without a grant, which demonstrated their importance for the realization of such projects.
