Abstract:Hrup je problem sodobne civilizacije in je posledica delovanja različnih strojev in naprav, transportnih sredstev in aktivnosti ljudi, kar je vzrok za slabšo kakovost življenja.

Title:NOISE AT THE WELDER`S WORKPLACE IN COMPANY BARTEC VARNOST, D.O.O.
Abstract:Noise is a huge problem of the modern civilisation. It results from the functioning of different machines and devices, means of transport and human activity, thereby reducing the quality of life. Noise is the most common reason for occupational diseases and 50% of them are related to hearing impairment or acoustic trauma. Noise is a global issue that affects everyone. The theme of the thesis is to solve the problem of excessive noise level faced by welders in the company Bartec - Varnost. It presents the negative effects of excessive noise on the worker, i.e. the welder, which become noticeable in terms of the worker's health condition, effectiveness at work and hearing loss. The thesis explores the threshold and warning limits of noise exposure and the reasons for reducing noise exposure. It touches on the issues and negative effects of noise exposure and discusses the security measures and their implementation that the employer needs to take into account. Noise measurement showed that daily and weekly levels of noise exposure of welders are higher than the upper warning limit and the threshold levels. It is possible to conclude that a worker without anti-noise protection is exposed to negative consequences of excessive noise. The thesis thus proposes several noise-reducing methods and other approaches to mitigating the negative effects of noise.
