Title:Problematika poučevanja bioloških vsebin v slovensko-madžarskih dvojezičnih šolah v Prekmurju

Abstract:Dvojezično poučevanje poteka na Primorskem in v Prekmurju, kjer se nahajata manjšini. Na Primorskem italijanska manjšina in v Prekmurju madžarska manjšina. Naša tema magistrskega dela je bilo raziskati, s katerimi težavami dvojezičnega poučevanja se srečujejo učitelji in učenci na dvojezičnih osnovnih šolah v Prekmurju in edini srednji dvojezični šoli v Prekmurju. To smo dosegli s pomočjo intervjujev učiteljev in izpolnjenimi vprašalniki učencev in dijakov. Zanimalo nas je, če se učenci, dijaki in učitelji soočajo s kakršnimi koli težavami pri dvojezičnem poučevanju in kakšne so te težave. Na podlagi pridobljenih rezultatov in iz njih izpeljanih ugotovitev, s katerimi težavami se srečujejo učitelji, učenci in dijaki, smo poskušali ponuditi rešitve in ugotoviti ali je dvojezično poučevanje dojeta prednost ali slabost. Z magistrskim delom smo želeli tudi preostalim, ki ne živijo na območju dvojezičnosti, predstaviti, kako poteka dvojezično poučevanje, v čem se razlikuje od enojezičnega in katere so prednosti in slabosti dvojezičnega poučevanja. Učitelji se srečujejo več ali manj z enakimi težavami, ki pa z leti pridobljenih izkušenj počasi upadejo, oziroma se ovire z leti zmanjšujejo. Še največjo oviro jim predstavlja pomanjkanje strokovne literature v madžarskem jeziku, ki si jo morajo priskrbeti sami. Učenci in dijaki imajo različen pogled na dvojezičnost. Nekateri si želijo dvojezičnega poučevanja, drugi ne. Večina uporablja madžarski jezik le kot pomoč pri ustnem spraševanju, kljub temu pa odgovarjajo in pišejo pisne naloge v slovenskem jeziku. Uspešnost odpravljanja težav dvojezičnosti, če jih učenec ali dijak ima, je odvisna tudi od stopnje znanja jezikov.

Title:Problems of teaching biological issues in bilingual slovene-hungarian schools in Prekmurje
Abstract:Bilingual teaching is practised in Primorska and Prekmurje where we find the minorities. In Primorska we have the Italian minority and in Prekmurje we can find the Hungarian minority. The research wads focused on the obstacles faced by the teachers teaching in bilingual primary schools and the only bilingual secondary school in Prekmurje. We achieved this through interviewing the teachers. We were wondering if the students face any problems with bilingual teaching and what these problems are. These results were obtained with the help of question polls. Based on the gained results and findings of what problems face both students and teachers we tried to come up with a solution and determine if bilingual teaching is an advantage or a disadvantage. The aim was also to reach out to others, those who do not live in bilingual areas and introduce to them how bilingual teaching is executed, how it differs from regular teachings and what are the positive and the negative sides. The results were partly predictable. The teachers more or less face the same problems but with years of experience in the filed the problems are minimized. Pupils and students have different views on the bilingual teaching program. Some welcome it and others do not. The success of their progress is based on their knowledge of languages.
